MultiMino is a Tetris-like game that tries to extend the Guideline to Pentominos, Hexominos and even the Trominos, Domino and Monomino!

The game counts with different kinds of modes for you to try:

  • Marathon: Clear a line goal of 150, 200, 300 or even an endless game
  • Sprint: How fast can you complete 40 lines?
  • Ultra: You have 3 minutes to obtain as many points as you can!
  • Survival: Be aware of the incoming garbage on your board.
  • Spin Clear: A unique mode of this game, use your knowledge about the mechanics to twist the pieces into places they normally can't to make an All Clear! How many boards can you complete?
  • Master: Show how good you are and complete this challenge at max speed!
  • Combo: You have one minute to make the longest combo on a 20x4 board.
  • CPU Versus: Test your skill and try to beat this simple AI on combat.
  • Sandbox: Want to play around with the new pieces or try setups? No problem! You can even save your boards to check them later.
  • And a especial Secret Mode, can you find it?

Customize the movement and look of your pieces as you like and save your games to watch them later on the Replays menu. The Kick Table Visualizer will help you understand how pieces interact with the board for Spin Clear Mode!

How do you start the game? I get a "kick table visualizer" when clicking on "Launch" tab. But nothing else.

Thank you

The Kick Table Visualizer is a tool to see how pieces behave inside the game! So this program isn't the game itself.
To play, download the MultiMino 1.1.5.exe file instead, this is an installer for windows.

lol - thank you for clarifying.

I also see that there is a sequel to this game. Is the sequel the new version of this game?

I'm currently facing the same issue as the other user but I'm on windows and not linux. I can't change my controls nor can I back out after trying to change my controls.

How come no music is played? Is it a bug? How long until you can fix it?

Other than that, this is my favorite Tetris clone ever. The added blocks make the game more challenging, and the secret "Classic Mode" is almost identical to NES Tetris. I'm not gonna spoil how to unlock it, however.
I hope you can add more to this game, maybe a mode like Arika's "Tetris: The Grand Master" series of games? Maybe add a Bombliss mode? Hell, even online multiplayer?

I look forward to seeing what's next for Multimino.

Well thank you so much for your support to the game! I'm not working on it at the moment but sure I'll came back to it to add more things and game modes.
As for the music, is not a bug, due to some problems it was left out of the game (mostly because I don't have a complete soundtrack and I don't know when I'll be able to get one), but It's a thing I want to add still.

Maybe until you can get someone to make a full soundtrack for the game, maybe reuse music from THQ's unreleased version of Tetris DS? Or maybe allow players to import music or even block skins? I have countless ideas for additional game modes and features.

On Linux, the controls don't change on command on my end. When I select an input for a command, the selector will fill, but it won't let me change the controls. Could you go about changing that?

Thanks for letting me know, I'll check that and release a patch as soon as I can

I will specify that I'm trying to do this on a keyboard, but that doesn't work. Also, the menu controls seem to be the game controls as well. My mistake.

I couldn't replicate your issue, is there anything else you forgot to add?
Also, as a clarification, the menu controls are independent of the in-game controls.

Let me restart: When I try to change the controls on Linux, I can fill the selection bubble, but I'm in a softlock after that. I can't do anything to leave the options screen, nor can I even make the changes I wanted, so I have to Alt-F4 out of the game, and restart hoping it works (I know, I'm that insane). Hopefully, that solves the misunderstanding.

Now that I tried it again, I can confirm that on my end, I'm softlocked into an option selection, not even Backspace will help either.

Edit 2: I can confirm that the Windows version of this game will work on WINE as intended.
